Developed by Brooklyn-based real estate developer Forest City Ratner Companies and designed by the award-winning architectural firms AECOMM and SHoP Architects, Barclays Center serves as the new home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and boasts one of the most intimate seating configurations ever designed for a modern multi-purpose arena.
We have been honoured to supply Barclays Center with ten CW2100 winches. These winches are installed approx. 50 meters above the floor, up in the ceiling.
These ten winches are lifting very large curtains that are used to screen off various parts of the facility to make it versatile for different types of events, including concerts. All of these winches are radio remote controlled allowing for maximum versatility and efficiency.
