This purpose built winch was the perfect fit for a security gate lifting solution. The application demanded a winch that could perform with a minimal fleet angle due to spatial constraints. The winch is designed for an 800lbs top layer capacity and a 2HP brake motor. The drum was designed to be able to accept dual ropes in an underwound and overwound configuration.
A specialized control panel was supplied with this winch including:
-VFD with dynamic braking resistors
-(2) wall mount remote control stations
-Provision to control electromagnetic door lock
-Fault protection in the event of personnel under the door during the operation
-Dual redundant upper and lower limit switches
