Bronze bushed Sheaves
Tork Winch

Sheaves

Standard bronze-bushed sheaves are precision-machined in a range of sizes and D:d ratios. Custom sheaves are produced in-house up to 48″ diameter, with material, bearing, finish and hardening options to match your exact load, speed, and service conditions.

Tork Winch

Blocks (Pulleys)

Standard vertical and horizontal lead blocks are mounted units rated to full WLL at 180° rope wrap. Custom blocks are available in shackle, snatch, swivel, mounted and multi-sheave configurations - engineered to your rope path, mounting constraints, and operating environment.

Recent Custom Projects

Tork Winch

Triple sheave blocks engineered for hydroelectric dam gate application. Utilizing LUBRITE bushings for smooth, wear-resistant operation, an epoxy coating for corrosion protection, and stainless steel pins for enhanced durability and reduced maintenance.

Tork Winch

Reverse engineering of a fractured sheave captured critical dimensions and groove geometry, enabling manufacture of a replacement matching the original specifications and minimizing system downtime.

Tork Winch

Custom solution for flood management gate systems operating in Florida’s harsh marine environment. The blocks were rated for 10–20 ton loads and supplied in single and double shackle configurations, with single and double sheave configurations for 5/8″ and 3/4″ rope. All components were galvanized to provide long-term corrosion resistance in saltwater conditions.

Tork Winch

25″ diameter triple-groove sheave, utilizing a deep web design with face bore holes to reduce mass, minimizing rotational inertia.

Tork Winch

These blocks were engineered with a 30:1 D:d ratio to reduce bending stress and strand fatigue during repeated cycling. Increased pitch diameter improves load distribution across the rope, supporting long-term wire rope integrity in critical overhead applications. Supplied in a shackle-mounted configuration and finished in black powder coat for durability and low-visibility installation.

Tork Winch

7075 aluminum sheaves with dual sealed ball bearings manufactured for a military cable-handling application. The bearing arrangement supports higher loads while maintaining low rotational resistance.

Tork Winch

Single sheave shackle blocks fabricated with 316 stainless steel side plates and sheave for operation in marine and saltwater environments. A swing open cheek design allows the block to be installed directly onto an existing wire rope, eliminating the need to reeve the full line during installation or maintenance.

Tork Winch

36″ diameter sheaves machined from Acetal (Delrin) for a coastal wire rope handling application. The moisture-resistant polymer reduces corrosion concerns while lowering rotational inertia and supporting extended wire rope life.

Tork Winch

Stainless steel swivel blocks equipped with a greaseable swivel mechanism to allow alignment with the direction of load during operation. The assembly was provided with multiple grease ports to allow connection of remote lubrication lines, enabling routine bearing maintenance without disassembly or direct access.

Tork Winch

Sheaves manufactured for a theatre application utilizing a 30:1 D:d ratio to support extended wire rope service life during repeated cycling. Finished in black powder coat for low visibility within performance environment.

Tork Winch

Large-diameter bull wheel manufactured for a wire rope drive system. The hub incorporates machined keyway accommodations to integrate with an existing drive shaft, while the rope contact surface was flame hardened to improve wear resistance.
